We will be diving into ta discussion that shapes every conversation, and is, quite honestly, the first step to understanding our world:  What does it mean to be a Christian?  You know, I've discovered that some people have never established their foundation in Christ.  It's like building a house, you first start with a solid foundation.

The Pew Research Center published the article "Religious Landscape Study" in February 2025.  The summary revealed that there has been a 16% decline since 2007 in people who identify as "Christian", here in the United States.

Our first podcast will offer a brief discussion on:

     1.  My early Christian experience as a teenager. 

     2.  What did living a Christian life mean to me after entering military service?

     3.  Did an event happen that impacted my faith (Panic search for truth)?

     4.  Many people have asked me how did I survive my faith?

So, for the next several weeks, we're going to:

• Explain how to grow as either a new believer or someone that desires a stronger faith foundation

• Discuss the workbook used:  "Survival Kit:  Five Keys to Effective Spiritual Growth" by Ralph Neighbour and Bill Latham

• Identify stages that new believers face:  Honeymoon stage; Fight stage; Doubting stage; Panic search for truth stage and the Silent Christian stage.

• Finally, we will be addressing these stages from the author's descriptions by looking at The Indwelling Christ-Controlling all; One Body-Two Natures; Three Aspects of Salvation; Four Sources of Authority; and the Five and Five Principle.
